I Will Be Changing The Direction Of This Blog

  • by

John Maxwell once said, “Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.” The difference between change and growth is subtle, but it’s an important distinction that dictates the impact we have on life and those around us. When I began this blog, I held certain views about relationships and attraction. Over time, those views changed, but not in the way that I am proud of. But, over the last year, I have grown, and so have my views.

I was naive when I began The Attraction Game. I really believed that I had everything figured out. I didn’t, and I see that now.

I wanted this blog to be about attraction and dating, but now I want it to be about connection, companionship, marriage, and authenticity.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it feels like men and women have been paired against each other. The debacle, otherwise known as the Gender Wars, has made it infinitely harder for men and women to find long-lasting love.

Rather than chase after views and controversy, I want to be a voice of reason and understanding.

I don’t think people are going to find marriage and true love at the end of a debate about gender roles and hypergamy or masculinity.

I also don’t think that people are going to fall in love with each other by withholding interest and attention.

The truth is, we connect with each other by being vulnerable and experiencing our emotions.

To become robots who assess each other based on criteria isn’t the way to discover the magic of love and marriage!

So going forward, my only goal with this blog is to share ideas about expressing love, developing meaningful connections, finding love, and marriage.

As long as I know that every article I write helps you to find and create that love story you’ve dreamed of having, I will continue to show up.

I left this blog for months, and I’m glad I did because we wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t. So, with renewed vigor and a deep sense of responsibility, I’d like to happily say that I’m back.
